This work began when one Veteran Service Officer was searching for new ways to connect the veterans he serves with their greater community. He wanted others to hear their stories, and, perhaps even more importantly, he wanted veterans to be able to talk about their service in a safe and supportive environment. He partnered with Midwest Writing and Editing to forge the necessary relationships and bring his idea into the classroom.
